NGU Sucker....

So I bought a tee from the marvellous Matt Bromley of NGU Sucker the other week. It arrived in next-to-no-time, but I have been totally lame in getting it up on here. Literally.

I busted my knee last week running (the grass was wet from the rain & I tweaked it going uphill), so have been laid up with my leg elevated, wearing a tubi-grip, rubbing in artheritis cream, dosing myself up with co-codamol and trying to rest it as much as possible.

Anyways.. no more excuses, I should have been a bit more forth-right on the responding tip! Sorry Matt. :(

Love little screen-printed card too! Gonna get it framed and put it up on my wall when I move.

Chinese Five Spice Noodles....

Said I'd write a quick post with the recipe to G's noodle dish that he made us when I was up in the Big Smoke the other weeekend.

I cannot begin to explain how yummy this dish is!!

I'll just explain what's in though...

Thinly sliced ginger
Sliced red chilli (be sure to de-seed)
Sliced turkey fillet/steak
Chopped spring onions
Spoonful of honey
Splash of light soy sauce
Sprinkling of chinese five spice
(straight-to-wok) noodles
handful of chopped coriander
squeeze of lemon juice

Do your own measurements.. I make it up as I go along now, chuck it in a wok and cook it up.

Overheard....

I have been keeping a little visual diary over the last few years, filled with bits and bobs collected along the way, photos, bus tickets, addresses, flyers, notes from friends, maps, rotas for work, appointments etc... they're slighty smaller than A5, and it was in an attempt for me to stop hoarding memories. If it fits in the book, it stays.. if it doesn't, it has to go.

These are a collection of phrases and funny thing overheard by friends and strangers that I particularly liked or found funny. They were a big hit with everyone who had a look through my little black books.

I've been really slack of late, so thought if I put them up on here it would remind me to keep my ears open and jot down the results.

Hopefully I'll have more to add soon...

Oh My....

So I've totally run out of space on my 120GB iPod. So not fair. :(

Little Trip up to Laahndaan....

I went up to London a few days back to stay with my best boy mates Stu & G (& their equally lovely housemate Tom!), I also wanted to go see 'Micmacs' as it was out at the cinema on Friday, so I thought I'd hop on the train up town to see the film and spend some quality time with my big brothers too. It was uber radness too because I managed to catch my friend Isabel the day after she'd gotten back from Australia! All in all a nice couple of days spent in the Big Smoke with some of my most favourite people on this planet.

G cooked the most amazing noodle dish (I'll put a post up shortly with the recipe soon), which I loved so much I have cooked twice since I got back home. I love good food.. and G is one of the best cooks I know.

I also got given a wonderful new Lovenskate tee that G had designed, a Lovenskate jumper from Stu for running an errand on his behalf and a gorgeouso tee from the lovely Lilli who works with Stu @ The Mangle. BIG 'thank you' to all three of you for being such lovely creatures!!

As for 'Micmacs'... don't bother. It wasn't that great. What a waste of a £12 cinema ticket! (I saw it a Curzon Soho.. pricey huh?!!)
